Burger King is leaning into Halloween this year with a limited-time menu built around classic monsters. Starting this week (September 30), the chain will serve themed versions of its staples, including a Jack-O-Lantern Whopper on an orange bun and chicken nuggets shaped like bats and vampire fangs served in coffin-designed packaging.

Other items in the lineup include mozzarella sticks wrapped “mummy style” with golden breading and a Franken-Candy Sundae topped with Oreo pieces, neon syrup, and popping candy. The collection will be available nationwide at participating U.S. restaurants.

The Monster Menu represents Burger King’s latest effort to capitalize on seasonal spending, as limited-time offers have become increasingly crucial revenue drivers for fast-food chains during the holiday period. Industry data shows Halloween-themed menu items can boost sales by 15-20% during the promotional period.

“BK fans have come to expect something spirited from us during the Halloween season,” said Joel Yashinsky, Chief Marketing Officer for Burger King US&C. “This year, we’ve dialed up the fun and flavor with themed packaging, crowns, and collectible buckets.”

For kids, the chain is also reviving its King Jr. Meal with Vampire Nuggets and a new run of Scooby-Doo toys. Collectible Halloween buckets, priced at $2.99 and tied to the promotion, will arrive on October 13, while supplies last.

Burger King has a history of Halloween tie-ins, from black Whopper buns to ghost pepper nuggets. The Monster Menu marks the first time it has bundled multiple themed items with toys and merchandise into one campaign.
