Getting a bigger TV doesn’t have to mean spending your way into premium territory. Amazon has dropped the 50-inch Toshiba M450 Series Fire TV from $370 to $200, saving $170 on a 4K QLED model with plenty of picture and smart TV features for the price.

For $200, you get QLED color, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and Toshiba’s REGZA picture processing, plus Fire TV built right in. It even includes gaming features like VRR and Auto Low Latency Mode, making it a well-rounded option for a bedroom, apartment, or living room without stretching the TV budget.

Why Choose This Toshiba Fire TV?

The 50-inch Toshiba M450 is a 4K QLED display that uses Quantum Dot technology to produce richer, more lifelike colors. This makes everything from colorful animated movies to nature documentaries and sports look more vibrant than it would on a basic LED display.

Behind the picture is Toshiba’s REGZA AI Engine ZRi Gen3, a processor that optimizes both picture and sound. Like most TVs on the market today, it also offers AI-powered 4K upscaling, improving lower-resolution content so it looks cleaner and closer to 4K.

The TV also supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+ Adaptive, providing excellent brightness, contrast, and detail in compatible movies and shows. And on the audio side, it uses REGZA Power Audio and Dolby Atmos support to deliver a balanced listening experience. A dedicated soundbar is still worth considering if you want bigger home theater sound, but the TV has plenty of built-in audio technology.

Fire TV handles streaming and smart features, including your apps, recommendations, watchlists, and recently watched content. And Alexa voice control lets you search for shows, launch apps, adjust the volume, check sports scores, and control compatible smart home devices from the TV.
