Gas-powered lawn mowers get the job done, but dealing with fuel, oil changes, and engine maintenance isn’t exactly fun. The Greenworks 21-inch 60V Brushless Lawn Mower offers a simpler alternative, and Walmart has dropped its price from $630 to $450.
With two rechargeable batteries, self-propelled wheels, and up to 60 minutes of runtime, it cuts down on the hassle of regular lawn care. Its self-propelled drive reduces pushing effort, while the 21-inch cutting deck covers a lot of ground with each pass, making it a practical option for small to medium-sized yards.
Why Choose the Greenworks 21-Inch 60V Lawn Mower?
Unlike gas-powered models, this 60V mower runs on rechargeable batteries, so there’s no need to buy gasoline, change engine oil, or deal with exhaust fumes while mowing. The brushless motor also delivers strong cutting performance with less noise and longer motor life, making it a convenient choice for regular lawn maintenance.
You get two 60V 4.0Ah batteries and a dual-port turbo charger, so you have everything needed to get started. Both batteries provide up to 60 minutes of runtime, and thanks to the mower’s automatic battery switchover, you can keep mowing without stopping to swap batteries manually.
The lawn mower also features a rear-wheel self-propelled drive system that uses the powered wheels to move it forward. This can make a noticeable difference when mowing larger sections of grass, navigating gentle slopes, or finishing yard work, since you won’t have to push the mower as hard.
The mower also comes with a 21-inch cutting deck, offering excellent coverage and maneuverability, especially around flower beds, trees, and other landscaping features. Plus, the 4-in-1 cutting system gives you several ways to handle grass clippings, including collecting them in a bag for a cleaner finish.
You can also adjust the cutting height using a seven-position, single-lever adjustment system. Instead of adjusting each wheel separately, one lever lets you raise or lower the cutting deck. This makes it easier to choose the right grass length for your lawn’s condition and the time of year.
For homeowners who prefer mowing early in the morning or later in the evening, the mower has built-in LED headlights to help illuminate the area ahead. And its EZ Fold handles fold down quickly, making it easy to store vertically.
The included batteries are also part of the Greenworks 60V system, which supports more than 75 compatible tools. You can use them later with other Greenworks 60V equipment, such as a cordless leaf blower, string trimmer, or other yard tools.
With Walmart bringing the price down to $450, you’re saving $180 on a self-propelled mower that includes two batteries and a charger. If you’re ready to leave gas-powered mowing behind or replace an aging lawn mower, this discount makes the Greenworks model worth considering.
