Pokémon may have celebrated its 30th anniversary back in February, but you can still get in on the fun with a special collection of trading cards. Right now, the Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration Elite Trainer Box is $60 at Amazon, down from its usual $90 price.
The anniversary-themed box includes nine booster packs, a special Nidorina promo card, and several accessories for collectors and players. And with card sleeves, dice, and a storage box included, it’s more than just a collection of booster packs.
Why Choose the Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration Elite Trainer Box?
This elite trainer box contains nine Pokémon booster packs, giving you a chance to discover cards featuring Pokémon from different generations. The expansion features fan favorites like Mewtwo ex, Mew ex, Umbreon ex, Salamence ex, and Greninja ex, giving collectors plenty of exciting cards to look out for.
Pikachu also gets special attention in this anniversary collection, as every booster pack contains a Pikachu card, with 30 unique rare variations. The Elite Trainer Box includes a full-art foil promo card featuring Nidorina, a nice addition for collectors who enjoy special artwork.
You also get 16 foil Basic Energy cards, which can be useful when putting together a deck while adding a little extra shine to your collection. And there are 65 card sleeves to help protect your cards from everyday wear, along with six damage-counter dice, a competition-legal coin-flip die, and a plastic coin.
Another useful addition is the player’s guide to the 30th Celebration expansion. It provides a handy reference for exploring the set and learning more about the cards available. Whether you’re returning to the Pokémon Trading Card Game after a long break or collecting cards for the first time, having a guide included makes it easier to get familiar with the expansion.
The set also comes with a collector’s storage box and six dividers, giving you a convenient place to store your cards and accessories. Plus, you get a code card for Pokémon Trading Card Game Live, adding another way to enjoy the hobby beyond collecting and playing with physical cards.
With Amazon dropping the Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration Elite Trainer Box from $90 to $60, you’re saving $30 on a collection that can sell as high as $160. If you’ve been looking for a fun way to celebrate Pokémon’s 30th anniversary or add more cards to your collection, this discount makes the box worth considering.
