Building a home theater on a budget? Woot has dropped the ULTIMEA Aura A40 7.1-channel Virtual Surround Soundbar System from $200 to just $65, saving you nearly 68% on a complete audio setup. The catch is that it is a refurbished model, but it still includes all four surround speakers and a subwoofer.
The ULTIMEA Aura delivers 330W of peak power, virtual surround sound, and plenty of ways to customize the audio through a smartphone app. While its refurbished condition is worth keeping in mind, the low price makes this an interesting option for anyone looking to upgrade their TV’s audio on a tight budget.
Why Choose the ULTIMEA Aura A40 7.1-Channel Soundbar System?
The Aura A40 combines a soundbar with three main audio channels, four surround speakers, and a dedicated subwoofer. Together, they create a virtual 7.1-channel listening experience designed to make sound feel like it’s coming from different directions, enhancing the level of immersion you get.
These speakers also feature SurroundX technology, which coordinates and simulates sound movement around the room, providing 99.99% audio detail accuracy. Add the AI-powered processor, which optimizes the listening experience, and you get a more spacious soundstage, even with virtual surround sound.
You get two front surround speakers and two rear surround speakers, helping spread sound across your entertainment space. The speakers use wired connections within their respective groups, while the rear speakers connect wirelessly to the main soundbar. This reduces the need to run a long cable from the front of the room to the back, although you’ll still have some cables to manage.
You can also adjust the surround effect to match your room and personal preferences, as the audio system offers 13 surround levels. This makes it easy to tune the system for a more immersive movie experience or a less intense setup for casual TV watching.
The ULTIMEA Smart App takes the customization even further by providing you with 121 preset equalizer settings across Bass, Pop, Classical, and Rock categories. There’s also a 10-band equalizer for more detailed adjustments if you prefer to fine-tune the sound yourself.
The system also supports Bluetooth, optical, and AUX connections, giving you several ways to connect your TV or other devices. Bluetooth is especially handy for streaming music from your smartphone, letting the soundbar double as a home music system. Plus, you get over-the-air firmware updates through the ULTIMEA app, keeping the soundbar system’s software up to date.
At $65, the refurbished ULTIMEA Aura A40 7.1-channel Virtual Surround Soundbar System is a great deal for anyone who wants great sound on a budget. With four surround speakers, a subwoofer, and app-based audio controls, it offers plenty of features for the price. If you’re comfortable buying refurbished, this could be an affordable way to give your home entertainment setup a serious audio upgrade.
