Amazon may have Prime Day, but Walmart is following suit with its own big savings event. The retailer’s Deals and More event is serving up discounts across tech and other popular categories, including a solid price cut on the Apple AirPods 4, now $79, down from $130.
For that price, you’re getting more than a basic pair of wireless earbuds. The AirPods 4 combine a redesigned fit with Apple’s H2 chip, Personalized Spatial Audio, clearer calls, and up to 30 hours of total listening time with the charging case. They’re especially convenient for iPhone users thanks to quick pairing, Siri controls, Find My support, and other features that fit neatly into Apple’s ecosystem.
Why Choose the Apple AirPods 4?
The AirPods 4 have a refined shape and shorter stems, making them easier to wear all day, whether you’re commuting or listening to music at home. They also feature quick-press controls that make it easy to manage music and calls without reaching for your phone.
The H2 chip handles much of the work behind the scenes to improve the listening and calling experience. While these standard earbuds lack ANC, the chipset provides voice isolation, which is especially useful for calls in noisy environments. It uses computational audio to reduce background noise and make your voice clearer to the person on the other end.
The AirPods 4 also feature Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking, which places sound around you to create a more theater-like experience. Plus, they know when they’re in your ears, automatically playing audio when you’re wearing them and pausing when you take them out.
AirPods 4 also make everyday tasks easier if you already use Apple devices, as Siri can handle tasks like playing music, making calls, or checking your schedule. You also get access to Siri Interactions, which let you respond to certain prompts by nodding your head for yes or shaking it for no.
Battery life reaches up to five hours of listening on a single charge and up to 30 hours with the charging case. Both the AirPods 4 and their charging case carry an IP54 rating for dust, sweat, and water resistance, so a sweaty gym session or getting caught in the rain shouldn’t stop your listening.
At $79, the Apple AirPods 4 save you $51 during Walmart’s Deals and More event. With improved comfort, Spatial Audio, clearer calls, and up to 30 hours of total listening time, this discount makes them an appealing upgrade for Apple users who want newer AirPods under $100.
