Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days are here, and one of Samsung’s flagship phones just got a sizable price cut. The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is down from $1,400 to $980 at Amazon, saving you a massive $420 during the shopping event. That puts Samsung’s best phone yet under $1,000 while still giving you the latest Galaxy AI features, advanced cameras, and built-in privacy tools.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is built for people who expect their phone to handle a little bit of everything. It can help edit photos with simple text prompts, capture clearer shots at night, and translate everyday tasks into AI-assisted actions. And thanks to its new privacy display, you can even hide sensitive information on your screen from people sitting beside you.
Why Choose the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra?
Privacy Display is one of the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s more interesting additions. Instead of relying on a separate privacy screen protector, the built-in feature can automatically hide your display from people viewing it from the side.
You can set the privacy feature to activate during more sensitive moments, such as when you get notifications, enter passwords, or open certain apps. This could be particularly useful while commuting, traveling, or using your phone in crowded places.
The phone also lets you use Galaxy AI for everyday tasks. Features like Photo Assist let you edit images by typing or tapping what you want changed, including adding objects, restoring details, or applying a different style. Now Nudge takes a more proactive approach, providing timely suggestions designed to help you respond faster and stay organized without constantly jumping between apps.
The cameras are designed to cover more situations, too. Nightography helps produce clearer photos and videos after dark, making it useful for concerts, nights out, or city scenes where lighting isn’t ideal. Plus, the front camera’s field of view is now wider, making it easier to fit more people into group selfies without everyone having to squeeze together.
Underneath all those features is what Samsung describes as its fastest, smoothest, and most powerful Galaxy processor yet. It’s built with AI-accelerated performance in mind, giving the S26 Ultra the processing muscle needed to handle its Galaxy AI features alongside demanding apps, multitasking, gaming, and everyday use.
Samsung has also made charging less of a waiting game. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is Super Fast Charging 3.0 ready, helping you get back to using the phone sooner when the battery runs low. And if you pair it with Galaxy Buds4 Pro, the Hi-Res Audio support lets you enjoy the finer details in your music.
At $980, the Galaxy S26 Ultra saves you $420 during Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days. Dropping below $1,000 makes Samsung’s flagship easier to consider, especially if features like Privacy Display, Galaxy AI photo editing, Nightography, and faster charging are high on your upgrade list.
