Palm Royale
Palm Royale has officially reached the end of the line after Apple TV+ canceled the comedy-drama on March 2, 2026, following two seasons. The series, set in Palm Beach in 1969, follows Maxine Dellacorte-Simmons, an ambitious outsider played by Kristen Wiig, as she tries to break into the exclusive world of high society. Its star-studded cast also included Allison Janney, Laura Dern, Ricky Martin, and Carol Burnett. The second season aired from November 12, 2025, through January 14, 2026, and now serves as the series finale.
Apple TV+ did not publicly give a specific reason for the cancellation. However, reports noted that the series never became as much of a mainstream breakout as some of the service’s other comedies, despite receiving strong awards recognition. The first season earned 11 Emmy nominations, but the show ultimately ended after 20 episodes. Because Apple did not announce a third-season renewal before the cancellation, there will be no additional season to wrap up the story.
Imperfect Women
Imperfect Women is a little different from the other shows on this list because it was never intended to continue beyond its first season. The psychological thriller stars Elisabeth Moss, Kerry Washington and Kate Mara as three longtime friends whose lives are shattered by a murder. As an investigation unfolds, the series explores betrayal, guilt, retribution and the secrets that can exist even within the closest friendships.
The eight-episode series aired from March 18 through April 29, 2026, and Apple TV+ described it as a limited series, meaning there is no second season planned. In other words, “Imperfect Women” was not canceled because of poor performance or a behind-the-scenes decision to end the show; its story was designed to be told in a single season from the beginning. The April 29 finale therefore serves as the conclusion of the series.
Silo
Fans of Silo do not have to worry about the story ending in 2026 — but its end is now firmly in sight. The dystopian sci-fi drama follows Juliette Nichols, played by Rebecca Ferguson, and the roughly 10,000 people living inside a massive underground silo who have been led to believe that the outside world is deadly. As Juliette investigates the mysteries surrounding their home, she begins uncovering secrets that challenge everything the residents have been told.
Apple renewed Silo for both a third and fourth season in December 2024, with the fourth season confirmed as the show’s final chapter. Apple subsequently announced that Season 4 will premiere on July 9, 2027. That means the series is not canceled in the traditional sense: Apple and the show’s creators are bringing the story to a planned conclusion, with the upcoming fourth season expected to resolve the major mysteries surrounding the silo.
For All Mankind
The alternate-history space drama For All Mankind is also heading toward its final chapter. Created by Ronald D. Moore, Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi, the series imagines a world in which the global space race never ends, following astronauts, engineers and political figures as humanity continues pushing farther into space. Over its run, the story has expanded from the Moon to Mars and beyond, making it one of Apple TV+’s longest-running original dramas.
On March 24, 2026, Apple announced that For All Mankind had been renewed for a sixth and final season. Rather than being abruptly canceled, the series is being given one final mission to complete its story. Apple said the sixth season would be the show’s final installment, with creators Wolpert and Nedivi expressing excitement about having the opportunity to finish the story as they had hoped. The fifth season premiered in March 2026, while the sixth and final season is expected to arrive in 2027.
The Morning Show
The Morning Show is another major Apple TV+ series that will be ending—but it wasn’t canceled without warning. The drama, which follows the complicated personal and professional lives of the people behind a major morning news program, stars Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon and was one of the flagship series that helped launch Apple’s streaming service in 2019.
Apple initially renewed the series for a fifth season on September 16, 2025, before Season 4 premiered. It was later confirmed in July 2026 that the fifth season would be the final season.
