With The Mandalorian and Grogu movie officially dropping on May 22nd, Burger King just rolled out their $19.99 “Bounty Bundle” for a limited time, and we couldn’t resist taste testing it.
First up, let’s discuss the merch. The bundle includes paper crowns (yes, I absolutely wore mine while eating) and a surprisingly slick reflective cup featuring Din Djarin flying with our favorite little green guy (one of four collectible designs).
If you opt for the King Jr. kids’ meal instead, you’ll score one of eight plastic toys—though beware, you might pull a random AT-RT driver instead of Mando.
But how does the actual meal taste?

The headliner is the BBQ Bounty Whopper, which comes in a helmet-shaped carton. It’s your standard Whopper upgraded
The real sleeper hits, though, are the sides. Burger King swapped out standard fries for Imperial Cheddar Ranch Tots – they’re crunchy on the outside and loaded with spiced, cheesy potato goodness inside. Pair those with the Grogu Garlic Chicken Fries, which come in a ridiculously cute box, and include a side of creamy garlic dipping sauceand you’ve got a very filling combo that genuinely hits the spot. What we appreciated is that even though all the sides are fried, they’re not greasy – and the chicken fries box has pop-out Grogu ears.
To wash it all down, there’s Grogu’s Blue Cookie Shake made with blue sugar cookie syrup and topped with blue cookie crumbles. Don’t let the wild, vibrant blue color fool you, because it’s basically a creamy vanilla and cookie-crumb milkshake. It’s a delicious dessert that serves to round out that savory meal.
At $20+, this is kind of a splurge for Burger King, but it’s a filling and yummy meal with fun packaging that feels like an unboxing experience all on its own. Not to mention the sheer joy of geeking out over new Star Wars swag on a Tuesday lunch break. This is one bounty actually worth hunting down.
While the national starting price for the Bounty Bundle is $19.99, keep in mind that prices can vary significantly by location. So while some markets are seeing the bundle for as low as $19.99, prices in major metropolitan areas like New York City can climb closer to $27.
