Bose is finally leaning into the “less is more” philosophy, and honestly, it’s about time. The brand just pulled the curtain back on its new Lifestyle Collection, a modular audio ecosystem that aims to kill the cable clutter and technical headaches usually associated with high-end home cinema. It’s also clear that Bose is going after Sonos and the HomePod 2 with this latest collection.

The new lineup is designed to deliver premium sound without the complexity of traditional setups. It includes a wireless smart speaker, a redesigned soundbar, and a matching subwoofer, all built to work together or independently.

The collection blends performance with simplicity, offering a more flexible way to build a home audio system. Whether you’re setting up a single room or connecting multiple spaces, Bose is focusing on ease of use, modern design, and immersive sound across the entire lineup.

A Flexible Bose System Built for Any Space

At the core of the Lifestyle Collection is flexibility. The system is designed so each component can work on its own or as part of a larger setup. A single speaker can handle everyday listening, while pairing it with other components can create a more immersive experience across rooms.

For home theater use, the soundbar can act as a standalone solution or be expanded with the subwoofer and additional speakers to create a full 7.1.4 surround system. This modular approach lets you scale your setup over time without replacing everything at once.

New Audio Tech Powers the Experience

Bose is introducing several of its latest audio technologies across the lineup. The Lifestyle Ultra Speaker uses a combination of front-facing and up-firing drivers to create a wider soundstage. It also features TrueSpatial processing, adding depth and height to your audio, even for non-Atmos content.

The Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar features a redesigned acoustic system with multiple drivers and Dolby Atmos support, delivering three-dimensional sound from a single unit. It also includes features such as AI-powered dialogue enhancement and room calibration to optimize performance for your environment.

To complete the setup, the Lifestyle Ultra Subwoofer adds deeper, more controlled bass, helping round out the overall audio experience for movies, music, and gaming.

Designed to Look as Good as It Sounds

The entire collection features clean, modern shapes and premium materials, including textured fabric finishes and glass accents that blend into your home décor. They come in Black and White Smoke finishes, with a limited-edition version available in a unique Driftwood Sand color.

Bose has also updated its app to guide you through installation and make it easy to adjust features such as the volume, sound settings, and system configuration. You get support for Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, and Bluetooth, making it easy to stream music from a wide range of devices and services. Multi-room playback is supported as well, allowing you to group speakers across different areas of the home.
