Samsung just unveiled its new Music Studio speaker lineup, introducing two models designed to bring immersive audio into modern living spaces. The new Music Studio 7 ($500) and Music Studio 5 ($300) are built to deliver powerful sound from a single speaker, while also doubling as stylish home décor pieces.
These audio devices reflect Samsung’s push to create a more connected home entertainment ecosystem. With Dolby Atmos support, smart integrations, and seamless pairing with Samsung TVs, the Music Studio speakers can serve as standalone audio solutions or as part of a larger multi-device setup.
Music Studio 7 Delivers Full Home Theater Sound
Leading the lineup is the Music Studio 7, which delivers a more cinematic audio experience from a single unit. It features a 3.1.1-channel setup with front, side, and up-firing speakers, along with a built-in woofer, creating a wide, immersive soundstage.
The speaker supports wireless Dolby Atmos, letting you enjoy 3D audio without complex wiring. It also features Samsung’s Q-Symphony, which enables the speaker to sync with compatible Samsung TVs and additional audio devices. This integration lets you enjoy a more layered and detailed sound experience.
The Music Studio 7 includes SpaceFit Sound Pro, which automatically calibrates audio based on the room. And you get Active Voice Amplifier Pro to enhance dialogue clarity. It also supports high-resolution audio playback, providing more detailed sound for music and movies.
Music Studio 5 Focuses on Simplicity and Style

The Music Studio 5 offers a more compact, affordable option while still delivering strong performance. It supports Dolby Atmos audio and both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth streaming, making it easy to play music from smartphones, tablets, and streaming services.
Like the larger model, the Music Studio 5 features SpaceFit Sound Pro for automatic sound tuning and Adaptive Sound, which adjusts audio based on your content. It also includes Active Voice Amplifier Pro for clearer dialogue.
The speaker features a wide soundstage, using waveguide technology to evenly distribute sound throughout a room. This makes it suitable for both music playback and TV audio.
Designed for Modern Living Spaces
Both speakers share a minimalist “dot design” created in collaboration with designer Erwan Bouroullec, giving them a sculptural look that blends into modern interiors. They’re designed to sit comfortably on shelves or mantels while still making a visual statement.
In terms of connectivity, both models support voice assistants, AirPlay 2, Google Cast, and Spotify Tap. They can also be controlled via the Samsung Play app, which allows you to manage playback and multiple speakers. Additionally, features like Group Play with Auracast let you connect multiple devices for larger sound setups.
A New Direction for Samsung Audio
With the launch of the Music Studio 7 and Music Studio 5, Samsung is positioning itself more strongly in the premium wireless speaker space. By combining Dolby Atmos audio, smart features, and design-focused aesthetics, the new lineup provides a flexible alternative to traditional soundbars and multi-speaker systems. Now available starting at $300, the Music Studio speakers are designed for users who want immersive sound without the complexity of a full home theater setup.
