Microsoft might be tired of the “console wars” discourse—the epic fan battles over Xbox vs. PlayStation supremacy, but it’s clearly not backing out of the spotlight anytime soon, and now that includes your feet.
After weeks of rumors that the company might abandon its Xbox hardware division altogether, leadership pushed back against the doomsday talk and doubled down on Xbox as a long-term play through next-gen hardware commitments.
The latest proof is a little unexpected: the Xbox Crocs Classic Clog, a full-on branded collab that turns one of the most recognizable comfort shoes on the planet into a walking tribute to the console.
The design leans straight into Xbox’s usual look. The clog comes in all black, with only the familiar lime green breaking things up. The real twist is at the toe: on top of rubber bumpers at the front, there’s a nylon shroud that mimics an Xbox controller, complete with two joysticks, a D-pad, and XYAB buttons laid out across the top. It’s not subtle, and it’s not trying to be.
The Xbox Crocs Classic Clog launched overseas on November 20, 2025, and hit U.S. shelves on November 25 at select retailers, including DICK’S and Crocs.com, for $80.
Beyond the novelty factor, the collaboration marks another bold move in Xbox’s strategy to keep its brand visible beyond traditional gaming spaces. From energy drinks to apparel partnerships, Microsoft has increasingly positioned Xbox as a lifestyle brand rather than just a gaming platform.
The Crocs collab fits squarely into that playbook—targeting the overlap between gaming enthusiasts and streetwear culture, where limited-edition drops and nostalgic design cues drive serious collector interest.
With the shoes now available, fans can grab a pair while they last—the crossover appeal between Crocs collectors and Xbox loyalists means these could sell out quickly.
