KFC is stepping straight into the holiday rush with a Thanksgiving menu shake-up aimed at anyone who’s tired of staring down another turkey. The chain just launched its new Extra Crispy Festive Feast nationwide and, for good measure, brought back the Personal Pot Pie, which is an old-school comfort order that their fans never really stopped asking about.

The timing isn’t random. According to a survey cited by the company, nearly 35 percent of Americans don’t actually like turkey at all, which means a whole lot of people are secretly relieved to see chicken take center stage in November for once.

The Extra Crispy Festive Feast landed on menus November 17 with everything built around KFC’s crunchiest chicken. For just $25, customers get eight pieces of Extra Crispy fried chicken—four drumsticks and four thighs—plus two large mashed potatoes, four biscuits, and something totally new for the chain altogether, a three-flavor gravy flight.

The lineup includes Signature Brown, White Peppercorn, and a new flavor, Southwest Cheddar. It’s a small twist, but it fits into the chain’s holiday marketing push, which KFC is leaning into with a tongue-in-cheek campaign titled “Cluck Turkey.” Subtle, it is not.

Alongside the feast, the Personal Pot Pie is officially returning. Priced at $4.99, it’s packed with shredded chicken, potatoes, peas, and carrots in creamy gravy under a flaky crust. KFC describes it as “the perfect pick-me-up for a blissful moment of pie-solation, during or after the shopping rush.” If nothing else, it’s returning at the time of year when shoppers are most likely to need that kind of break.

KFC is also leaning into holiday merch, rolling out matching pajama sets, fried-chicken–themed wrapping paper, and gift cards, available in stores while supplies last.

In a press release, Melissa Cash, KFC U.S. chief marketing officer, said:

“KFC has been bringing people together around the dinner table for more than 70 years, and this holiday season we’re inviting everyone to cluck turkey and make room for flavor. For us, it’s about comfort, connection, and craveable food. The Extra Crispy Festive Feast and our first-ever Gravy Flight are designed to bring that joy back to the holiday table, at a price that brings everyone to the table, because the holidays should taste as good as they feel.”

Like most seasonal menu items, both the Festive Feast and the Personal Pot Pie are of course only available for a limited time, and availability can vary by location. So anyone hoping to swap out turkey for Extra Crispy chicken might want to check their local KFC sooner rather than later.
