Halloween’s barely over, and the candy aisles haven’t even cleared out yet, but Wendy’s has already flipped the switch to holiday mode. The chain just dropped a brand-new Snickerdoodle Frosty, and it might be the most festive thing to hit fast food this season.

Snickerdoodle Takes Center Stage

This year, Wendy’s has been pushing its Frosty Fusion and Frosty Swirl lineup hard, experimenting with flavor combos instead of the usual seasonal one-offs. Now, for the holidays, it’s taking that formula full sugar-cookie mode with two limited-edition spins: the Snickerdoodle Cookie Frosty Fusion and the Snickerdoodle Frosty Swirl.

Both start with the base Frosty you already know —chocolate or vanilla —and blend in a warm cinnamon-sugar snickerdoodle sauce. If you tried the Thin Mints Frosty earlier this year, expect a similar vibe—thick, swirled, with that cookie-butter texture that’s somehow smooth and crunchy at once.

The Fusion comes topped with actual cookie crumbles, while the Swirl keeps things simple, letting the sauce do the work.

Why No Peppermint This Year?

Fans who’ve been waiting for the Peppermint Frosty might be disappointed to hear it’s not coming back this year. Wendy’s says it’s a logistics thing, since most locations have only two Frosty machines, and chocolate and vanilla are permanent fixtures. Unless a third machine magically appears in every store, peppermint’s staying on the bench.

Still, Snickerdoodle feels like the right move. It’s not too heavy, not too weird, and perfectly timed for that mid-November craving when you’re still pretending you won’t start decorating yet.

The new Frostys are available nationwide for a limited time, starting now. Wendy’s is also pushing the classic fries-and-Frosty combo hard this season, positioning the snickerdoodle flavor as the sweet half of a salty-sweet holiday pairing. Whether you go for the cookie-loaded Fusion or the classic Swirl, one thing’s clear: Wendy’s wants to own your holiday sweet tooth.

And honestly, after the year we’ve had, a Frosty that tastes like cinnamon, sugar, and Christmas nostalgia doesn’t sound like a bad place to start.
