It took 13 years, a Change.org petition, and probably more nostalgic tweets than the brand ever expected, but Burger King finally listened. Cini Minis are back. For real this time. And no, not just in Florida or via some weird app-only promo. Nationwide.
If you grew up inhaling these tiny cinnamon rolls before school (or after a night out) you already know the hype. BK first launched them in 1998, served warm with gooey icing on the side, and they quickly became one of those fast food cult classics. Then in 2012, for reasons that still feel personal, Burger King yanked them from the menu.
That’s when the internet got to work.
Over 6,000 fans signed a petition begging for their return. They made TikToks, nostalgia threads, and Reddit pleas. The chain sort of brought them back in 2018, but only through Grubhub, and only for a blink. It wasn’t enough.
Then came a quiet test run in Florida last year. And now, Cini Minis are back across the U.S. at all locations, all day long.
You can grab them solo, or bundle them into BK’s $5 Duo or $7 Trio deals—think Whopper Jr. + Chicken Fries + warm cinnamon sugar joy. And yes, they come with icing. Anything less would be a crime.
Just don’t sleep on it. This isn’t a permanent menu return (yet). BK says it’s a limited-time deal, and if past behavior is any sign, that could mean gone in a flash.
So if you’ve been dreaming of that first bite since 2012, you might want to sprint—not walk—to the nearest drive-thru. Cini Minis are back. For now.
