McDonald’s is about to launch what might be its most self-aware Happy Meal ever. Starting today, July 1s, kids (and probably a lot of adults) can get their hands on the new Lil McDonald’s toy collection — mini versions of McDonald’s staples that are both adorable and kind of brilliant.
The full set includes 21 miniature toys, from tiny booths and registers to a mini McDonald’s building, fry baskets, drink machines, and even a Boo Bucket. Yes, that Boo Bucket.
McDonald’s is also adding some digital touches to the experience. Every Happy Meal will come with a scannable code that unlocks a new online game called Drive Thru Dash. And if you head to their website, you can download a free play placemat that pairs with the toys because apparently, tables still need activity sheets.
As a bonus for parents looking to burn off some energy, the McDonald’s app will also help you track down locations with a PlayPlace.
Whether you’re hunting down every toy for your kid (or your own collector shelf), these tiny McDonald’s sets look like they’ll be a hit. And if nothing else, it’s a fun reminder that sometimes fast food is more than just the food.
