Steven Spielberg’s talents as a filmmaker can be summed up by the fact that Jurassic Park and Schindler’s List were released just six months apart in 1993.
Directing the highest-grossing movie of all-time and the Best Picture winner at the Academy Awards in the same year is an incredible feat, and both deserved their success.
Schindler’s List is Spielberg at his most mature and emotional, allowing the human element of the story to shine through against the backdrop of one of humanity’s worst atrocities.
