Netflix series that were cancelled in 2020, 2019, and 2018

Has your favorite Netflix series joined the streamer’s list of cancelled shows?

Everything Sucks!

Date canceled: April 2018

The comedy-drama created by Ben York Jones and Michael Mohan was canceled by Netflix after a single season. According to The Netflix Binge Factory, a feature published by Vulture in June 2018, the streamer axed Everything Sucks! because many viewers didn’t finish its first episode even though it’s only 23 minutes long. Though the show had a loyal audience, Netflix didn’t feel like it would grow along with a second season. Starring Jahi Di’Allo Winston, Peyton Kennedy, Patch Darragh, Claudine Mboligikpelani, and many others, Everything Sucks focuses on a group of teenagers who make a movie together while dealing with finding their sexualities, mental health, and growing up.
