Netflix series that were cancelled in 2020, 2019, and 2018

Has your favorite Netflix series joined the streamer’s list of cancelled shows?

The Punisher

Date canceled: February 2019

Netflix pulled the plug on the Jon Bernthal-led series after two seasons. The cancellation was part of the streaming service’s decision to let go of its entire slate of Marvel programming ahead of the November 2019 launch of its rival streamer Disney+. Though Netflix’s Marvel TV Universe had ended, it doesn’t necessarily mean that fans have seen the last of Frank Castle and other characters featured in the shared universe. In an open letter to fans in February 2019, former Marvel Television head Jeph Loeb teased that cancelled Marvel shows on Netflix, including Jessica Jones, Daredevil, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist, might find a new life on other platforms.
