Nikki Blonsky put her name on the map when she stepped into the shoes of Tracy Turnblad in the 2007 remake of Hairspray. After landing a number of small roles after the success of the retro-themed movie, the actress found her new calling as a hairdresser on Long Island.
Looks like Hairspray foreshadowed her future career!
