Kevin Clark (died May 26th, aged 32)

Kevin Clark, the drummer who played Freddy “Spazzy McGee” Jones in the 2003 comedy film The School of Rock, was struck and killed by a motorist while biking in Chicago’s Avondale neighborhood in the early hours of May 26th. He was 32.
Clark started playing the drums when he was 3 years old, so he had a decade of experience behind him by the time he auditioned for School of Rock. While he never made another movie, he continued to play the drums, performing with local bands like Dreadwolf, Funk It Let’s Jam, Robbie Gold Band. His most recent band was the Jess Bess & The Intentions.
