#37 Snoop Dogg
As a teenager, Snoop Dogg frequently ran into trouble with the law, but that didn’t immediately change after he became a rap icon. In 1993, Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., was charged with first-degree murder after a member of a rival gang was shot and killed by Snoop Dogg’s bodyguard who fired the shot while in the then-21-year-old rapper’s vehicle. In February 1996, Snoop Dogg was acquitted of his murder charge.
A decade later, in October 2006, Snoop Dogg was arrested on suspicion of illegal drug and gun possession at Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, California. In 2012, he was again arrested, this time at a border patrol checkpoint in West Texas, where he was found to be in possession of several joints containing under a half-ounce of marijuana.
