Have you ever wondered what your favorite celebrities would look like if they were animated characters? Well, wonder no more, as Brazilian illustrator Marciano Palacio has created several artworks depicting popular actors and music artists as animated characters. Palacio is a self-proclaimed Disney fan, so most of his works feature stars who played iconic Disney characters on TV or on the big screen. He also loves stories with strong female characters, so many of his fan arts honor the actresses that brought those empowering roles to life. Check out some of Palacio’s best illustrations in the slideshow below.

#1 Will Smith

This animated reimagining of Will Smith is a fusion of two of his most popular roles: Genie from the 2019 Disney movie Aladdin, and the fictionalized version of himself from the hit ‘90s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Though depicted in his Genie form, this animated take on Smith is wearing a pair of shades and a baseball cap, which are both signature accessories of the actor’s ex-rapper character from the aforementioned NBC comedy series.

#2 Mena Massoud

Palacio’s animated version of Mena Massoud looks as adorable as the actor in real life. Beaming with a huge smile, Mena as Aladdin is obviously having a great time with his trusted pet monkey, Abu. While we can’t exactly tell the reason behind the Prince of Agrabah’s delightful grin, we won’t be surprised if it has something to do with the love of his life, Jasmine.

#3 Naomi Scott

This is what Naomi Scott’s Jasmine would look like if the 2019 film Aladdin got an animated follow-up. Though the Princess of Agrabah looks particularly timid in this fan art, those who have watched the Guy Ritchie-directed movie know that she’s actually feisty, headstrong, and someone who speaks her mind.

#4 Amy Adams

Dressed in a sparkly blue ball gown with large puffy sleeves, this animated version of Amy Adams is based on her character Giselle from the 2007 Disney film Enchanted. As depicted in this fan art, Giselle is introduced in the movie as a cheerful and fun-loving princess-to-be in the Kingdom of Andalasia. But over the course of the flick, Giselle becomes more mature and even takes on the role of a mother figure to a child.

#5 High School Musical cast

Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Lucas Grabeel, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, and Monique Coleman are all reunited in this cute fan art that depicts them as animated versions of their High School Musical characters. Efron’s Troy Bolton, Hudgen’s Gabriella Montez, Luca Grabeel’s Ryan Evans, Ashley Tisdale’s Sharpay Evans, Bleau’s Chad Danforth, and Coleman’s Taylor McKessie are all illustrated by Palacio so impressively that some fans think Disney should hire him for an animated High School Musical series.

If the 2019 Charlie’s Angels reboot was an animated movie, then this is what its official poster would look like. In addition to the Charlie’s Angels reboot, Palacio also loves the original Charlie’s Angels film series. Case in point is this fan art that he created in 2018 in celebration of the 15th anniversary of the 2005 movie Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle. Based on the film’s surfboard stakeout sequence, this illustration features Lucy Liu as Alex Munday, Cameron Diaz as Natalie Cook, and Drew Barrymore as Dylan Sanders.

Like the previous artwork, this illustration also features an animated version of Drew Barrymore ― this time as Sheila Hammond from the Netflix horror-comedy series, Santa Clarita Diet. Together with her in this charming fan art is Timothy Olyphant’s Joel Hammond, who is Sheila’s loving husband in the Victor Fresco-created series. If you’re seeing a pair of eyeballs and a severed finger in Sheila’s bloody drink, that’s because she’s an undead who craves for human flesh.

#9 Drew Barrymore

Unless it isn’t obvious yet, Palacio is a huge Drew Barrymore fan. The artist even honored the actress on her 43rd birthday back in 2018 by reposting this artwork of her as Danielle de Barbarac from the 1998 romantic film Ever After. An interpretation of a particular shot from Andy Tennant-directed film, this fan art shows Barrymore’s Danielle in an off-shoulder Renaissance-era dress complete with a pair of fairy wings.

2018’s heist comedy film Ocean’s 8 features strong female characters, so it isn’t surprising that Palacio made an artwork to honor the Gary Ross-directed movie. Featuring the flick’s eight female protagonists in their most memorable outfits, this artwork includes animated versions of Sandra Bullock’s Debbie Ocean, Cate Blanchett’s Lou Miller, Anne Hathaway’s Daphne Kluger, Mindy Kaling’s Amita, Sarah Paulson’s Tammy, Awkwafina’s Constance, Rihanna’s Nine Ball, and Helena Bonham Carter’s Rose Weil.

This animated version of Hermione Granger from the Harry Potter film franchise really looks like Emma Watson during her younger years. Aside from nailing the Hermione’s Gryffindor uniform, Palacio also did an amazing job in recreating the character’s bushy red hair and signature freckles just below her eyes.

#14 Lynda CarterCelebrities reimagined as animated characters 86

Based on Lynda Carter’s live-action portrayal of Wonder Woman, this cute fan art shows the DC character making sure that her boots fit just right. Saving the world involves a lot of running, jumping, and kicking, so seeing the superheroine ensuring that her shoes are secured to her feet shouldn’t come as a surprise.

This animated version of Nicole Kidman’s Queen Atlanna looks stunning in her blue skintight jumpsuit from the 2018 movie Aquaman. Kidman won best actress in a limited series at the 2018 Golden Globes for her performance as Celeste in HBO’s Big Little Lies. But instead of creating an animated version of Kidman’s Celeste, Palacio decided to draw the actress herself during the awards night. Proudly holding her fourth Golden Globe trophy, Kidman looks elegant in her bewitching black gown, which is designed by Clare Waight Keller as part of her Spring 2018 Haute Couture collection for Givenchy.

This animated reimagining of Charles Melton amazingly captures the physical appearance of the actor’s Riverdale character, Reggie Mantle. Palacio did an awesome job illustrating Reggie’s prominent jawline, wide cheekbones, and kissable lips. And though the Riverdale Bulldogs captain is dressed in a black V-neck undershirt topped with the high school’s varsity jacket, the artist managed to show the character’s muscular build by subtly highlighting his bulging pecs.
